Yellowstone to Salt Lake City (Sat. July 10)

We woke up today to a nice warm 41 degrees in West Yellowstone, Montana!!! For all of you that have been experiencing summer's brutal weather we would be happy to send you some of the cold!! We were freezing! Luckily once the sun gets it does warm up a bit. The sun is really hot yet the air itself is still fairly chilly. I think in a few days we are going to be wishing we had this weather back.

After getting the camper set to go again (and watching the not so bright guy next to us try to drive away without unplugging his camper and ripping the water pipes right up out of the ground and causing a big flood - People who rent campers!!!) we headed back into Yellowstone to see Old Faithful. We were lucky enough to show up about 15 minutes before it went off. It only goes off once every 90 minutes so the timing was great. We also saw several buffalos again. The first day it is so cool. By the second day you are so sick of people slamming on their brakes and stopping in the middle of the road to take a picture!!! I can't believe there are not constant accidents occuring in this park!! (And no we didn't slam on our brakes to get our buffalo pictures. We were sure to pull safely to the side of the road so people could get around us!!)

Old Faithful was the highlight of the day because after that it was a nice long ride to Utah. We ended the night at Salt Lake City. It was actually one of the first days we got into the campground early enough for the boys to play a little soccer and relax so that was nice.
