We woke to a very cloudy day but a promising forecast of sunny and in the 70s. So we broke camp and headed across the Rainbow

Bridge to see the Canadian side of the falls. After getting very lost (Niagara Falls has HORRIBLE signs!!) we finally go

through customs, got lost again (both sides of the falls have horrible signs!!) and made our way to park and onto the "People Mover". While at the falls we did the "Journey Under the Falls". If you go to the falls it is a great way to see them. Much better than doing the Maid of the Mist. With the Journey you only tie up a small portion of your day and you don't get motion sick!!!
We left Canada with thoughts about stopping at the American side but another thunder storm broke out so we decided to head on. Next stop - Frank and Teressa's Anchor Bar in Buffalo, NY, "Home of the Original" buffa

lo wings. Conor had ask

ed me to find him some hot wings. So, I asked the people on my Route 66 e-mail list and they suggested nothing but the Anchor. We ordered a round of "suicide" wings and one order of mild. Conor was not disappointed! The wings were verrrry hot. He really liked them while Pedro and Colin were a little less enthused. Colin turned beat red and his eyes filled up with tears!! It was pretty funny. I finally even gave in and tried a bite. Not as hot as I had expected but I didn't like the after taste. After filling up on hot wings everyone's mouth was so on fire that we had to run next door to Wendy's and get Frostys to put the fire out.

We finally got on the road around 5:00 and headed to Sandusky, Ohio arriving around 10:00. (We saw a beautiful sunset over Lake Erie in Cleveland) We got the camper up as quickly as we could (while fighting hundreds of little creepy bugs) and got to sleep planning on an early arrival at the front gate of Cedar Point amusement park.

The boys and their matching bracelets which Pedro brought from Spain . . .
