Wisconsin Weekend

Sorry we are a bit behind on this but we have been so busy!!!!!

Friday morning we took off from Chicago bright and early bound for Minocqua, WI where we would attend a family reunion. It was a reunion of the Broomells, Tony's mother's family. Too bad Tony would be home recuperating from surgery and would not be joining us as originally planned.

On the way to Minocqua we stopped in Tomahawk, WI at the
Harley Davidson factory tour where we got to see how they make windshields, fiberglass for the bikes and side cars. It was a really interesting tour. I never knew that the side cars were all made by hand, custom designed.

We spent the weekend with lots of
visiting with family, stories, laughing,
music, some intense games of spoons and a little water skiing and tubing thrown in. Pedro had never been on water skis and can now go home to Spain and brag that he did it!! Conor also managed his first slalom run.
